Hotel Maria Do Mar - Florianopolis

During my Christmas stay, the hotel offered a lovely view of the surroundings and a fair price to stay. The location of the hotel was ideal, being away from the bustle of the city yet being private. this, I loved the hotel for its beautiful view of the natural surroundings.

There were some downsides to the hotel as well. The hotel lacked sophistication, and there was no elevator.

The view is excellent. You can see the bay from your room. You also have a big pool in front of the see.

They don't speak english, only portuguese.

The view from this location was scenic and lying by the pool admiring it was completely relaxing.

I booked a room for a couple and was given 2 single beds. After I spoke to the staff to rectify this they were all applogetic and said it will be rectifyied but still nothing was done until I spoke sternly approx 24hrs hours after. Then with great appology we were moved to another room. This was a quiet time for them so I couldn´t understand why my request wasn´t granted on arrival. The restaurant staff of an evening were very rude but the breakfast staff were completely obliging and made up for this. The rooms were like bomb shelters, brick and raw unfinished cement. Not what the accommodation photographs in the website portrayed at all. Our room service unfinished meals were left in the corridor awaiting pick up for more than 24hrs

The value for money at this hotel is exceptional. With prices that won't break the bank, you get a wonderful seaside location, just like in the pictures. The attention to detail is evident in the basic amenities provided, making for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service throughout your time here. And let's not forget about the breakfast, which offers a wide variety of delicious options to start your day off right.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail they had. The staff was friendly and provided great service throughout my stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures, which was a relief. The location by the seaside was simply beautiful, offering a stunning view that I couldn't get enough of. And let's not forget about the breakfast - it exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of options that satisfied my taste buds.

Located by the seaside, this hotel offers beautiful views and a tranquil environment. the rooms are simple but comfortable, providing a relaxing stay. Breakfast is decent and there are some facilities available , including a pool area. Free water bottles are provided, but additional water needs to be paid for.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the event I was attending. the hotel facilities were well-maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. I really appreciated the transportation service provided by this hotel , made it easy for me to move around this city.

Couldn't stay longer due to my tight schedule.
